An inspirational moment in my life!
I was walking around the mall and they were a playing a song that was talking about how a man and a woman had been together 58 years. While walking I saw this old man and old woman they were walking hand in hand eating ice cream which you don't plan on seeing much but every once in a while you will see that once in a lifetime couple that is still in love after a long period in their life. After a little longer I had ate lunch and then was walking out of the mall and I see them getting in their car and he opened the door for her and shut it. I just thought that was a very touching moment because you do not see that much in today's society. It is like everyone is so busy and really does not have time to do that kind of stuff anymore. I just thought that was something that I could share.

Your story almost made me cry because it sounds like you saw my parents. . . if I did not know they have already gone from this earth! They were married 68 years and held hands until the end. I always remember them smooching and truly helping and loving each other. They were a true renaissance couple. Once in awhile you will find this kind of marriage. I was fortunate to have had their love for the period I did. Unfortunate to have never found this for myself.
